Picture of the Week: #9

I know it's a bit late, but no matter (I did at least take it last week): this instalment of the PotW comes from Cafe Opium on Sunday evening.

Very nice restaurant, that - the décor looks very striking, doesn't it? - although the waitresses do have a tendency to make certain assumptions about you based on what you look like. For example:

Me: I'd like that, please.
Her: I recommend that you change your mind.
Me: Eh?
Her: You wouldn't like it.
Me: But...
Her: Hardly anyone likes that. Try something else.

Well, all right, so it wasn't quite like that, but not far off. I do rather strongly suspect, though, that if I was Asian I wouldn't have got that reaction...
